AI gives me mixed reviews of my photos

Not sure what to believe. Are my photos good or bad? People seem to really like them but my computer is giving me mixed messages. Sometimes it rates them a 5, others a 4

i woudlnt listen to ai in the slightest when it comes to stuff like this. It just pretends to give you confident answers, it has no idea what its doing lol. Someone online uploaded a fart sound effect and asked ai to analyze their “song”. AI gave a long explaination about how it was great and spacious and melodic etc… it was a damn fart sample lol. I would ask real people.

AI is terrible with art analysis and matters of taste.

I’m a pretty picky person and I’ve always thought your photos were really professional :man_shrugging:

You got to know yourself if your photos are good. Seems like youre overly concerned about others opinions of them. If you can’t tell if a photo is good how will you take good photos?

People on other forums hate my work too. Gave me a 3/5.

I was heavily criticized on physicsforums. Then again, all of them are egotistical.

That’s right about egos. When you ask for ratings you’re kind of suggesting that you don’t have a strong self-evaluation, so people will try to undermine your self-confidence. You’re kind of setting up a battle of the egos when you ask where they inflate theirs with pompous evaluations that make them seem experts, and deflate yours with them.

People on physics forums think they’re the smartest people in the world but when you watch their behavior and what they say then you find out they’re average people with an advanced degree.

I may go back to school for physics though.

Thing about this illness is that it makes achieving goals quite difficult. The stress and mental activity flares up symptoms. If you want to go back to school, it’s up to you, but it wont be easy with this illness.

Your photography is good. I wouldn’t let criticisms get you down.

I ain’t going for good though, I’m going for great! Lolol

Great is within your abilities, but what makes something good great is more about serendipity than willfully doing it. I mean even a photographer that waits all day without moving for a great shot of wildlife or something, risks not capturing anything. Great happens to good photographers I think.

I try. I highly doubt I could ever be a master. I’m past my prime anyway
