Been a week on an extra dose of Abilify5mg added to my 10 I already take felt doped up at first but now my body is adjusting to the new dose for a temporary time after the 18th which will be two weeks on the extra dose I will taper off and go back to what I had been taking which was 10mg of Abilify and 20mg Lexapro. Feeling more like myself now which means I am getting better. My Mom thinks I should keep taking the extra dose until Oct when I see the Nurse Practitioner at TCN Behavioral Health here In Ohio. But I think two weeks is plenty of time on the extra dose. I done this once before and the Nurse Practitioner I saw said I did good by doing what I did. I don’t for one want to change to something new when this Abilify and Lexapro works great for me has for many years since 2003 since I been on that combo.
It seems like you know what med combo works for you. Why did you increase it in the first place?
I increased it because of paranoia and depression as well as anxiety and anger issues but really for the paranoia and Anxiety issues.

I don’t know. If I was doing better with extra meds, I’d want to stay on the extra dose. Why suffer if you don’t have to???
I am already on an extra dose been on an extra dose of Abilify for over a week right now I usually take 10mg of Abilify and 20mg of Lexapro my mom wants me to call Tcn Behavioral Health tomorrow to see if I can get in to see my psych Nurse Practitioner so I am going to explain the situation to the receptionist so she can give my psych Nurse Practitioner the information and go from there will keep everyone posted on what they decide to do.
she may or may not want me to increase my meds she may add something new to the meds I already take I dont know thats up to my psych nurse and if I can’t get an appointment right away they have something there called see you now or SUN I will ask about that if I can just walk in for an appointment with someone at SUN At Tcn.

I go to TCN tomorrow to see my psych Nurse Practitioner at 3pm and will have to explain everything in detail and be specific as possible about my issues I am having she may want to increase the dose on my Abilify and adjust the dose on my Lexapro or add something in addition to what I take not going to suggest anything I thought about suggesting that new drug for Schizophrenia Cobenfy but decided not too she is the dr she can suggest whatever she thinks is best. But Cobenfy looks promising from what I read about it and its brand new on the market I am trying to get away from weight gain and other negative side effects mainly weight gain though cobenfy has a very low chance of gaining weight like 4 to 7% of people gain weight on it same for losing weight on it as well. We’ll see what she says tomorrow will keep everyone posted on what she does and says.

@Yarn @Lilyofthevalley thanks, I have been on Abilify10mg now 15 I am taking to get my mood until control hope she thinks that was ok for me to self-up dose my medicine until I see her tonight, I will take 15 mg again and tomorrow we will see what she says and go from there I hope I get straightened out the sooner the better I hate myself when I am mean and evil like I am right now

no I am evil when I get this way my eyes seem to change darker when I am this way maybe grouchy too or angry.

I truly believe you aren’t evil and don’t have evil eyes. It’s most likely a delusion. I know you truly see it in yourself, but others most likely just don’t see it
