Im going through a stage where i really really doubt i have schizoaffective disorder i think its just schizophrenia
I haven’t had alleged “mania” in a long time i was only put in full lockdown once due to.”mania” and I have episodes before haldol where I felt on top of the world BUT I think it might of just been schizophrenia

I DO GET FULL BLOWN DEPRESSION i will say that
Lamictal is saving me from a INEVITABLE suicide tbh
And I live a happy life im not saying this because im depressed or anything

I think it might of been a manic impulse when I was taking Prozac and ended up vandalzing the school
I wouldn’t of done it without psychosis or whatever

Also when i missed my meds a few months ago I couldn’t sleep laughing like crazy thinking about how “ fun and funny it was” and had the urge to do it again I took clonazepam and it calmed down and o went too sleep

Thinking you don’t have it is a symptom, a common one.
It’s pretty cruel, like the disorder was designed as a mean joke.
Fortunately I’ve never had this problem, the way I see it if you’ve been through one psychotic episode, you know you have the disorder for life, since it’s incurable. If you experience a period of time without symptoms, you’re probably in remission from successful treatment, but the minute you drop your medications you are inviting a full relapse.
You can have other mental health problems at the same time… I have sza so my bipolar depression kicks in sometimes in addition to the sz symptoms. It’s hitting me real hard right now. It is what it is I guess. Don’t forget the times when you were grappling with full symptoms, if you have those memories they should help guide you to the conclusion that you do in fact need your meds.
Just my two cents. I don’t know you well personally but I’ve seen it in people I did know for awhile especially on the old forum.

I doubt my diagnosis too. Was what happened in the past mis interpreted ? Mis judged ? Exaggerated ? Were they lying to me ?
Maybe they weren’t lying in the past but they are lying now. Playing games. Actors. Fakery.

If you get full blown depression then chances are great that you suffer with SZA

Yeah i remember people saying i was manic on the old website and I was just extremely angry idk
I miss the old days of Prozac sometimes but if I did the ■■■■ I did while on it id be in major ■■■■
I actually got a hold of Prozac at 21 same ■■■■ I almost did worse stuff inappropriate stuff in public that’s all im gonna say

I have not been full manic for probably 10 years. Meds prevent it. Maybe your meds prevent it too.
I have still depression and psychosis but I doubt the mania sometimes. So I understand how you feel.

I haven’t had full mania since I was 21 im 33 now I’ve had alot of hypomania
I made alot of bad decisions while manic
