Every time its time to take meds, there is a battle in my head to not take the meds. I am the best I have ever been since the illness but I keep telling myself what I would be without meds, my true natural self. I have no positive symptoms and negative or cognitive symptoms did improve, they keep slowly improving the longer I am out of psychosis . I fear losing all the progress I have made.

Psychosis is not your natural self. Mine changed me into something else. On meds I’m back to my normal self.

It’s a seductive thought to think that your ok. It’s the curse of mental illness because it really leads to poor outcomes if you stop. That is just statistics so keep on them. Yeah. You feel better but the meds are doing things and it’s often subtle but stopping them can be catastrophic.
Like I do do well on meds and it’s taken me 25 years of treatment and other things to get to a a good place…but it’s all work. Attitude and listening to my psdoc. And meds have been the cornerstone of getting so much better.

D3 man don’t run the risk of ruining your brain by quitting meds. Use your common sense and take the pills. Don’t run the risk to ruin your wery high quality of life so take them pills.

I took meds yesterday but I already know another battle will happen today when its time to take meds. Idk why I became like that, maybe I should switch to injections like the 6 months invega one.

I understand very well what you are going through most of us struggle with taking pills. Just stop thinking and take your good old pills for the sake of your own wellbeing.

No but I fear not going to the clinic to take it if I decide again to stop meds. I think the only solution is court ordered injections so forced treatment.

No but I wish as I keep stopping them. Also I do not think you will be on pills if you are court ordered because you just stop taking them. You will be on forced injections and if you don’t go take it law enforcement will find you and force you to take the injection lol

You know D3 here in our social kingdom state of Denmark you can get send a nurse to your home to monitor your taking your meds. Yes I’m proud of our welfare state our statsminister and our king.
