# How soon hot bath after shot/depot?

Had 2 month gluteal depot yday. Feels sore and a bit swollen.

I wanna have a hot bath but I don’t want to make inflammation worse…

How long do you guys normally wait until a hot bath or shower?

I get shots in the arms now, but when I used to get the invega shot, I honestly didnt take that into consideration when I took a shower.

But AI says :

Yeah I think you’re right. Might try cold shower to reduce inflammation. In the delt I used to get dead arm/shoulder for like a week or so.

When I was on depot there was one golden rule and that was not shower with hot water were I had been injected.
