First go to my hydroxizine thread and choose the green pill, you can affect the outcome you want

then

dont talk about your mental illness

if it comes up say you had some health problems that are now resolved but your health records are private information

keep answers in interview short mostly

only make long answers when they are requested

youll do fine

Dress appropriately, dress nice. Be clean and neat. Make eye contact with the interviewer but not too much. Do a little research on the company so you know a little how it works and what they want. Ask questions but not too many.

For an entry-level factory job, interviews are usually pretty practical. They’re less about tricky questions and more about whether you’re reliable, safe, and easy to train.

Here’s what you’ll most likely get asked:

* * *

### 🧠 Basic background questions

- “Tell me about yourself.”

- “Why do you want to work here?”

- “What kind of work have you done before?”
(Even non-factory jobs count—retail, food service, etc.)

* * *

### 🛠 Work ethic & reliability

This is a big one for factory jobs.

- “Can you work early mornings / nights / overtime?”

- “How’s your attendance at previous jobs?”

- “Are you comfortable doing repetitive work?”

- “Can you stand for long periods or lift X pounds?”

They’re really checking: _Will you show up and stick with it?_

* * *

### ⚠ Safety questions

Factories care a LOT about safety.

- “What would you do if you saw something unsafe?”

- “Have you ever followed safety procedures before?”

- “Why is safety important in the workplace?”

Good answers = you follow rules and don’t take risks.

* * *

### 🤝 Teamwork

- “Have you worked as part of a team?”

- “What would you do if a coworker wasn’t doing their job?”

Factories run on teamwork, even for entry-level roles.

* * *

### 🧩 Problem-solving (simple scenarios)

- “What would you do if a machine stopped working?”

- “What if you made a mistake on the line?”

They don’t expect technical answers—just that you’d report it and not ignore it.

* * *

### ⏱ Pace & pressure

- “Can you keep up with fast-paced work?”

- “How do you handle repetitive tasks?”

They want to know you won’t burn out quickly.

* * *

### 💬 Questions you might get that feel random (but matter)

- “Why should we hire you?”

- “What are your strengths?”

- “Do you have reliable transportation?”

* * *

## 👍 What interviewers really care about

If you remember nothing else, focus on showing:

- You show up on time

- You follow instructions

- You take safety seriously

- You’re willing to learn

- You don’t quit easily

* * *

## 💡 Quick tip (this helps a LOT)

Even if you don’t have factory experience, say things like:

- “I’m used to being on my feet all day”

- “I’m comfortable with repetitive work”

- “I always follow rules and safety guidelines”

- “I’m reliable—I don’t miss shifts”
