whenever I pick up a craft I put so much energy into it that three months pass and ive completely burned myself out. now I have nothing to do.

I think you should try something that takes a long time to master like painting using different techniques, idk any other skills that require a lot of time and patience except maybe writing a book or joining a group or something, I hope this helps.

I heard some written languages take virtually a lifetime to learn. East Asian writing forms are very complex.
Maybe this could be a project?

is it related to motivation (you feel burnt out)? and also cognition(take long time to master a craft)?.calm down and be kind to yorself.this illness is serious and have a huge negative impact on our life’s.

I don’t think it’s motivation. I lose interest. I think it’s the adhd and autism when I get into a hobby i hyperfixate on it for hours and hours per day and months at a time. it becomes more than a full-time job for me … it gets exhausting and I burn out.
