That gets to me sometimes too. My wife says I have a lot of irrational fears or at least fear out of proportion to reality. So I truly do understand. It feels very very real to me

it really was very powerful thunder and lightening and a hell of a lot of rain… I hate this heat..

I feel for you @Ish I am terrified of thunderstorms myself. Not a nice experience, especially at night when the lightning is much brighter. Fortunately I stay in an area where thunderstorms are rare. Almost all of our rain is in winter and it’s very rare that there’s thunder and lightning with it, unless the cold front is very severe or a rare summer mini thunderstorm. Our summer is dry weather. I stay in Cape Town South Africa. We’re in winter now so rainy season.
