# My aunts - again - sorry for repeatedly bringing this up

I am still upset they don’t want to talk to mum. Every time I messaged them to raise the issue my message was read and not answered. One of them answered but did not want to resolve the situation. But when I talked of an unrelated topic they answered. I decided to cut them both out.
So my great aunt decided to step in to try and resolve it. But it didn’t work. One of them tried to say mum never said thank you when she bought her a dress and got her husband to drop it off (she didn’t want to herself). Mum showed me the text where she said thank you and said politely she can come where she wanted to our house. I showed my great aunt the screenshot. But now she’s claiming I wrote that message not mum.
I hate that my family has fallen apart.

Family drama is tough. You have every right to be upset after being basically called a liar. Maybe take some time off no contact and process these emotions before trying again later

I haven’t talked to them in months but it’s affecting me so much more than it seems to be affecting my mum. I don’t do well with change.

Change is hard on many people, and not being able to be in a relationship with family you love is very painful. I think your experience is completely normal
