# My dad is in the hospital

We’re not close but I’m worried about him,
He is having trouble regulating his blood pressure and pulse so they transferred him to a bigger hospital for testing.
I’m hoping he’s ok. It makes me realize that I should try to connect with him before he dies.
He was so abusive growing up he lost parental rights. But he became a better person but I still haven’t become close with him because his wife is nasty to me. But I need to get over that and be a bigger person in this.

I wish I could be closer to my Dad too. He travels overseas a lot but I know he loves me and we are always happy to see each other when we see each other. He gave me a quilt for Christmas that he made.

People can change but you are really going to see him so you can have closure. If he’s going to stress you out though, just wish him well and try to enjoy the holidays with those who love you.

Thanks @SzSupportAdmin . Yeah, family situations can be complex. Mine especially. Lots of issues. I was emancipated at 16. But I’m close to my mom now. Things can change. They take effort but it can be different sometimes than it was before.

Thanks @POET . The tests show he’s in A-Fib. They’re doing a procedure Monday morning to see what’s going on and what should be done about it. He said it’s so bad he can’t stand or walk so it’s pretty severe.
