Learn to chill man. Im chillin every day… get some tasty beverages, take hot baths, get a few things that interest you, exercise a bit, lay around
Life is pointless
Thats an affect bro not a sound cognition
I can drive. And I like it. Its very helpful.
Why dont you learn how?
I’m going to be totally honest with you @Raptor_Z . We all have problems but you seem to be really negative.
I mean, this is a support forum and people complain, so I’m not trying to be too hard on you.
But, generally speaking, whenever someone tries to give you an idea or lift you up, you shoot them down with negativity.
Trying to look on the bright side a bit more might help you some. I know thats not always easy, but maybe it might help if you tried.
I have license but i forgot everything driving is very stressful and scary i cannot feel car its measurements .my reaction very bad . I didnt drive many years i tried and i cant
If I had to drive for the first time while schizo, I would say the same. But I learnt to drive and started driving my own car at age 21.
Schizo came at 27. No problem.
Ok i not say anything more
Again, doing the same thing here. Rather than taking what I said in, you are shutting down and trying to make me feel guilty for pointing out the obvious.
This is not going to help you feel better. Constantly beating down on yourself and saying how lousy everything is all the time and shooting down everyone that tries to help you in some way is not going to make you feel better.
I know things can be bad. I know how hard sz can be on you. But the constant drumbeat of “I suck, Everything sucks, nothing you say can help” is not going to benefit you.
Feel free to respond. I wasnt telling you to be quiet. If you feel Im wrong tell me.
Im just trying to breath
I was fishing i injured fish. It wqsnt happy
Many people are limited, not just sz people. You just got to try to make the best of what you have.
If it’s your medication that brings on your negativity and bad life quality, that is something to talk to your doctor about so maybe changes can be made. There are always options.
You know some people need to read something everyday to uplift them. I used to be that way. Now I have enough in my mental library where I can get by without it. If you’re alone with your thoughts and it’s always your inner critic stealing your happiness you need to combat those thoughts with good ones. You have to put in effort it just doesn’t come to you. I’ve read hundreds of books to combat different ideas. I hope you take some steps to give your mind a chance. Doing things isn’t helping, you play games you say you like them then the next day you hate games. You need a daily inspiration book. 365 daily inspiration book. That’s what you need. Some people are misanthropes and they are just natural pessimists and they are happy being this way. If being negative makes you happy keep doing that. I wish you well.
There is public transportation if it is available in your area. Quite a few of people with schizophrenia don’t drive… If I can choose, I also want to take bus and train all the time.
You can do some housework, that is a nice contribution to the family. But I understand how it feels when we cannot work to support ourselves, have to depend on someone.
It’s Ok to dislike life, dislike things in general.
But baasking in negativity won’t do you any favours.
I spent 19 months on a psych ward and I hate being human, sure.
But I push on.
If you enjoy fishing, then maybe try photography? Or cooking some.
