# My new Echo Dot Max arrived today

So it took about ten minutes to set up. Full price is $119 but I got it on Prime Day for $79. The 5th generation regular Echo Dot is on sale for $40 but I paid the extra $40 for the Max mainly because it has better speakers. It does sound better than my old Echo Dot. My old Echo Dot was working fine but I had some extra money and it was a good sale. I’m satisfied with the new Max.

Compare it to your record player you had in '75 to see if its worth a hundy.

I know these last few years vinyl records are making a comeback but my old record player doesn’t compare to a Dot, if that’s what you mean. When on my Echo dot I can play just about any kind of music. My friends Klipsch speakers sounded pretty good with his record player but my Echo Dot sounds good too, with no scratches or skipping.

Just saying 120 USD to have a piece of tech like that when you lived during vinyl which were essentially still grammophones is pretty epic way to spend a bucktwenty.
