# Pdoc in 2 weeks - gonna discuss a lot

The pregabalin is crazy. Super super weight gain. Plus I am not on a antipsychotic dose of quetiapine. Those two meds are just for anxiety
in my head I would love to taper off both of those. I am a hefty dose of an old typical ap called depixol so I think that covers the sz illness
my anxiety is really intense though. Would love to find an AD that might help that. Am currently in 60mg Prozac but maybe there is a better AD for anxiety?
the goal is taper off the weight gainers and use an AD to treat the anxiety.
Will see what the pdoc says. This is my first in person appointment for like 3 years I think

They were really trying to push the mirtazapine on me for anxiety and insomnia but it causes uber sedation and hunger

Always favored the overtly positively connotation of svelte compared with skinny, scrawny, gaunt etc. so I appreciate that. Although I’ve had significant weight loss in the last 2 years or so from being a heavyweight or cruiserweight to basically a welterweight now. That has largely been due to stomach and esophagus issues, but I’m used to it as my weight has varied drastically over my adult life dropping as lownas 130or 140lbs underweight during extended psychotic mania in 2004 to 190 or 210lbs during the psychosis that got me hospitalized in 2015. So while I would actually prefer to be atleast 190lbs my stomach doesn’t really have the capacity …one of the reasons i resisted mirtazapine because hunger without ability to eat would be torture…

Have you ever tried sertraline ? I’m on jt and it’s supposed to be very good for anxiety.
I also have a pdoc appointment soon (next week) I will be bringing up failure to support me after what’s happened a few weeks ago.

First time I will meet this doc. In the uk docs change pretty regularly. We have socialised medicine so docs are often mobile and change a lot.

I been on sertraline since 2009 I dont think its working anymore. im depressed and never wanna do anything.. im on 200 mg maybe gotta try something else
