I just got my toenails clipped by my podiatrist, he clips them every two months because I have a bad back and it hurts to clip them myself. It’s a service I discovered a couple of years ago that Medicare covers. I have no complaints about my health insurance. ---

No way, that’s an interesting tidbit about Medicare that I was not aware of. I just wish they covered GLP drugs, I need help losing weight on Zyprexa. The lobbyists are working on it as we speak though. ---

My Medicare Advantage Plan covers 66% of the cost of Mounjaro for people who qualify. That comes to about $300-500 per month for the patient. Not great coverage. Also manufacturers coupons are not allowed legally for anyone who has Medicare or Medicaid. It’s literally a law. So no cheap discounts ---

What’s nuts is it would be covered if I had diabetes… but if it were covered now, for obesity, it would prevent me from getting diabetes altogether. It makes zero sense. ---

My doctor referred me to bariatric doctor. They are getting more approved than primary care. ---

Glp does help but not as much as switching to cobenfy (not sure if you need to be on a glp by then) see stutterbug’s progress
