I’m on a low dose for anxiety. Usually it’s used for depression. It works different in the brain than SSRIs it just makes a ton of feel good chemicals in the brain.

Well I can’t eat out of boredom like I used to, so I’m just gonna guzzle water instead.

I’ll be up late pissing the night away as Chumba Wumba likes to say.

You have any side effects? If not that’s great. I need to get myself some of that.

Thank you J Bob! It sounds beautiful too, and is going to sound even more beautiful as the wood ages. In a few years it will sound like angels whispering sweet nothings into your ears LOL!

5am here, cannot fall asleep. I think the cucumber detox diet was a bad idea. Im sleep deprived.

Back to eating everything in moderation.

I have a sigma (sp?) acoustic. I was told sigma is to Martin what squire is to fender. Not sure if this is true.

my relatively cheap guitar sounds great but I can only imagine how that beauty of yours sounds.

Not so far. I read nausea and constipation can happen but so far all I feel is the lack of desire for food. Normally I’d be deep in some cheese and crackers right now but I’m just sipping water.

It’s really hard to get it covered and the pharmaceutical companies are charging much much higher prices in USA than in other countries, but if you can get it somehow it’s worth it. The big side effects that people talk about (ozempic face, hair loss, etc) are not direct side effects of the med but rather side effects of rapid weight loss in general. My doctor said she’s gonna see me every month and make sure I don’t lose weight too fast, and only raise my dose toward the maintenance dose amount when the time is right.

There’s some stigma that it’s ā€œcheating,ā€ so much so that based on what I’ve read in some subreddits, I’m starting to believe some a-holes just think overweight people deserve to suffer… like being fat is some moral failing. This is just untrue, when I was 21 I ate five thousand plus calories a day and was 130 pounds. Nowadays, because of my Zyprexa, I eat half that and weigh 220. The assumption that ā€œall fat people are fat because they eat too muchā€ is far too simplistic and often incorrect. People are just mean.

Also it’s not really a cheat because it’s not like I can take the med and eat a bunch of pizza and lose weight… taking the med makes me not want the pizza. I don’t get to binge on it.
