bieleve it or not i have schizophrenia since i was born.i realized it lately after treatment and having insight about my mental illness.i was having wierd thoughts and odd behaviour and cognition impairment and social withdrawl in childhood.

I have this understanding now, too. I knew from childhood that something was wrong with me. And not long before schizophrenia and the voices, I began to study this illness and realized that I had always had it.

I faintly remember being pretty socially withdrawn, shy even and having relatively low willpower. Could be prodromal negative symptoms or something along those lines, who knows. But certainly I was never “normal”, but then again, who is - it is just an illusion.

I’ve been messed up my whole life. Got really shy and withdrawn in 7th grade and basically stopped talking to anyone but my family and my two or three friends. I know other people are shy and withdrawn too but I always say I’m the last person who should have gotten schizophrenia, my self esteem and confidence has always been zero. Now, I’m basically invisible except for people to take their crap out on me.
