# Something went right for once

I mean more than usual. The light that lights up the face of my watch so I can see what time it is in the dark has been out for like more than a year. I finally decided to do something about it so I took it to the watch repair shop. I walked in and I was the only customer and I handed the guy my watch and I sat down in a chair prepared to wait 20 or 30 minutes but he took it and put in a new bulb and it took literally one minute. Just $11. I walked out of there happy.

As a youth I used to have a digital wrist-watch I loved so much that instead of ever replacing it, I just brought it to a guy in the mall who ran a kiosk named “Mr. Watchband” to fit it with a new watchband once every couple of years when it got frayed.
