My pdoc knows about my theory about the voices. Mu nurse too, we had a videocall few days ago. I’m not delusional, but have symptoms. Otherwise I’m functioning well. The last time I was hospitalized was 12 years ago. Gotta avoid going with the world of the voices and concentrate on normal things.
Paranoia against voices or against the community? Paranoia implies incorrect thinking to an extent compared to sociological imagination for instance, so both are detrimental, but paranoia against voices I think has no benefit at all, but paranoia even as a corrupted social imagination could possibly be formative of a type or personality that when well is uber af.
I think paranoia against the voices could be put off as these are told to be imaginary. And reputation of being “crazy” in the eyes of the people too, as it’s not our desire to be Sz’s.
There should be an expected perception that one with schizophrenia suspects interconnected others of forming a consensus about his/her identity as a isolated or disconnected person from them. Thats the sociological view of paranoia as detachment of a marginal person from group interactions. Floundering in only suspicions of those in the larger community who are organized and possibly intolerant of him. Socioligical views of psych phenomena are limited but important at least in liberalizing thought from an entirely psych reductionist view.
I was never in control of who found out as I was only 16 when it started
