A 4-year extension study of the olanzapine/samidorphan drug combination (Lybalvi) showed that it effectively manages schizophrenia and bipolar 1 disorder in adults while mitigating the weight gain and metabolic dysfunction associated with olanzapine alone

I think it’s kinda rubbish that here in the UK where I am, this combo med isn’t licenced for use for Psychosis/Schizophrenia illnesses. I’d definitely have tried it. Because olanzapine is almost meant to be gold standard for dealing with psychosis

Lybalvi has been around a while, but it’s not available here yet.
