So I recently switched from Walmart plus to Amazon prime. In my area I get Amazon Fresh (or Amazon Grocery whatever it’s called now) and I have to say I am quite impressed with the selection on Amazon. I got my first order from them today that I ordered yesterday and I was really pleased. The amazon brand products seem like good quality too!
Amazon prime is $16 a month for me and Walmart used to be $14 so it’s not too bad of a swap.
Tbh, I haven’t looked into Amazon fresh. I get Walmart+ for $4.14 a month because I get Medicaid so it seems like a pretty good deal. About 90% of the time the produce I get from Walmart is fine, just a couple of times some of it went bad quickly. I get Amazon Prime and again, I get it for half price because I got Medicaid so I’m happy with it. Incidentally, I subscribe to Safeways FreshPass too, and again, for half price and I pay $50 a year for unlimited “free” deliveries and earn points for “free” products. I don’t think many places beat Walmarts low prices.
I haven’t used either. I thought Amazon food delivery came from Whole Foods which is way out of my budget. I used a service that is $60/year. But that has gotten too expensive too.
I use Walmart+ at $49 a year (half off cuz of Medicaid)…i don’t use it much in the summer but it’s really nice to get free delivery when it’s -30 F or colder. I have Amazon Prime, too, using my dad’s account but there isn’t any Amazon stores where I live…i just basically use it for the free shipping.
