It was one of my favorite shows as a kid (along with Dexters Laboratory). I have been on a SpongeBob binge and Inrealized the writing is very clever. There are a lot of “subtle” jokes in the show only adults would get.
I moved to America in 2002 and my step daughter would come home from school and watch spongebob. I got into it for sure and like it lots. It’s very clever and the adult can appreciate it. I watched way too much spongebob, patrick and assorted peeps for a couple of years!
I’ve watched a lot but it was all so weird and that was 20 years ago…and ageing brain. Just some fond memories from a good time in my life. I wish my brain was better but it’s still a fun show…lots of adult humor for sure.
Hey Roxy…just doing great things in life. Still broke and unpartnered but who would think that adding a specific diet to some exercise would do amazing things…
So getting out and about and trying to cut out my online time which works because I’m doing stuff. Hooked up with the local left and getting involved in helping them and meeting new people all the time. Going to meetings and it’s fun and intellectually good.
Meanwhile had a bit of a hiccup wtih the keto but sorted out some stuff so been back on that so gained some weight but in the process of losing it healthily and fitter than I have ever been since my 20’s I would say…play cricket every week when we can and weights and walking!
I vividly remember watching it on tv as a kid for the first time. The intro started with the “i cant hear youuuuu” song etc. I was like what the hell is this?! Loved it ever since. I love when they have detailed close ups of characters faces sometimes for exaggerated effects. So funny.
I love SpongeBob so much lol. I love comedies in general. I got netflix a few times and all I watched was SpongeBob and the office. I’m not much into drama or horror etc. I just like to laugh and SpongeBob is hilarious
