Anyone like the film “Pulp Fiction?”

Brilliant film! Tarantino is a genius. It’s a fun film with great performances by Samuel L Jackson, Bruce Willis, and John Travolta!

My favorite parts are the script and the editing. The mixed up style really works.

What do you guys think of this film?

I liked it when I came out. Saw it a few months ago again and did not seem as good as I remembered it.

Different strokes for different folks! I can watch that film over and over again without it getting old lol

No I don’t like Tarantino’s films

Too much unnecessary violence

The level of violence in his films are so over the top it’s almost comedic to me lol it’s just exaggerated to the point it’s funny.

I like Tarantino’s films -because- of the violence. Reservoir Dogs is my favorite. Kill Bill 1 and 2 are good as well.

Pulp Fiction is pretty classic, the main thing I remember from that film is them being surprised that a milk shake cost 5 dollars. Nowadays that’s the baseline price for one at a fast food shop.

Like I said before the level of violence is so exaggerated that it’s funny to me lol

It’s a decent movie. There are worse movies you could, say, watch on a 4 hour flight.

Have you seen reservoir dogs?

Yep! But not for a while though. I loved it though. I like that scene with the song “Stuck in the middle with you”

I didn’t question it so much when I was young, but there is a lot of almost glorifying violence from anti heroes in Tarantino films, or maybe casualising it. That doesen’t work for me anymore, but I totally understand that many like it. It’s entertaining, but it’s just not for me.

What do you think of Uma Thurman’s performance in kill Bill?

She was excellent, for sure. As good as Samuel L Jackson in Pulp Fiction

I like how we viewed her as a noble person yet was involved in organized crime. The contrast between those two sides made her very interesting

That’s more about the writing in the character

I’m interested in what you think about her acting style

When I research it online it says that she’s very stylized

She didn’t have a classical education

I don’t know. I’m just curious about why she got so big what her key to success was

I do like her and kill Bill. I think that she’s capable of creating a captivating character. She connotes a lot of emotion. I particularly like the scenes where she’s training with the Kung Fu Monk or whatever
