I like to give my cats a big hug and they put up with it for about 10 seconds then they tear off into the night.

I let them lay on my lap, carried them around sometimes…sleep with me…all i have is dogs now though.

My cat didn’t like hugs. Instead I would rub the underside of her chin, she loved that, always closed her eyes and craned her neck and purred when I did it.

My cat never liked hugs, but she’s starting to like them now that she’s getting older and chilling out. I give her a massage once or twice a day, and I can tell she really likes them because she closes her eyes and purrs.

My cat is very skittish and prefers her personal space.
But she does accept me petting and scratching her chin and back once in while.
I love her regardless
I’m guessing that she was abused before I adopted her as a kitten

I pick mine up and rock him like a baby, or he gets inside my dressing gown/robe and falls asleep. He is like a baby haha

I miss the stray that would roam in my old place, it was a neighbourhood stray that got taken in by the neighbourhood. I loved him so much haha

When I had my cat Cordelia, I loved to hug her every day. She had very soft fur.

She’s gained weight after I got the automatic food dispenser thing.
