I just know from my dad side(Normandy side) they’re farmers and from my mom side (French Caribbean side) they had money

My dad’s dad was Dutch and my dad’s mother was German. They emigrated to South Africa from the Netherlands in 1952 when my dad was 12. I have his Dutch surname and hence heritage.

My mom’s parents were Afrikaans (South African people from European descent from Netherlands, Germany and France)
