The outdoor Norway stuff looks pretty good. Chinese made stuff is actually pretty nicely designed. I recently got a big gray corduroy jacket from China
My only complaint is that the zippers on the wrong side but I guess it doesn’t really matter to me as long as no one makes fun of me for it.
That’s a big part of it. The outer shell fabric doesn’t pass moisture nearly as well as something like GoreTex does and you notice it when you’re active. For the base and mid layers I cheap out more, just making sure I’ve got 100% synthetic.
its winter but oddly i dont want to wear boots lol, i have lately brought back out a pair of black leather venetian loafers i have because their shape got messed up from being in a storage bag and wearing seems to be the way to mold them back to shape, along with shoe trees
I don’t know how to Branch into formal or like even sportswear. Yeah, I really do like a bunch of Italian designers but I don’t know how to wear their clothing yet. I can’t figure out how to style myself. That’s cool that you have some Venetian loafers. Post a pic
i have a couple suits kinda, 1 actual black suit jacket and black pants matching, then 2 slightly less formal blazers / sport coats that can be paired with a variety of pants.
loafers are considered pretty versatile they can be worn with anything from in summer with shorts and suede rounded toe penny loafers, or boat shoes and linen pants , chinos go good with almost all these loafers as well as jeans, the more structured the loafer the more formal the pants, basically black loafers always lean kinda formal, dyed suede leans casual, penny leans casual, shiny leather leans formal, brown leather is like the middleground. there are so many details and things that can be mixed and matched based off old traditions then personal preference and random things its kind of fun to dive into different categories of wear
clothes are crazy sometimes lol $1200 for a jacket made of wool, i know its not made as a purchase for normal people budgeting but more so luxury shoppers but there are so many possibilities of what $1200 can do, like i could buy a used car or stage piano and idk what craftsmanship makes wool worth that much,
i got off topic then i just now remembered i have an all white 4-button 2 piece suit 100% wool i got from goodwill new for $20, havent seen it in so long almost forgot it because its in a protective hanger
