i wonder is it due to site storage or hosting something, but if so then the storage this site is using is very insufficient if its lacking like this needing mass deletions in the first month. because sz forum has over a decade of countless dead threads with many images and all that are still viewable today.
the original site could almost be used as a research platform as thats how i and many others originally found the site was by searching internet with questions about sz that no one can relate to and finding some random multiple year old thread with similar experiences on sz forum.
on that site they only started deleting the selfie thread with each new one solely for peoples privacy but not because it was taking up space on the site.
Hosting costs in excess of $400/mth.

that is alot and extreme but it can also be less depending on what service is used. im just saying a big part of the forums charm will be lacking if every post is temporary, will feel like the stories features on social medias apps rather than a timeline of threads. or basically a chatroom because posts made will need to be purged

I can leave them up longer guys. I just have been trying to stay ahead of the game. If I wait until 1000 posts it takes a much longer time to clean out. If i do 250 or 300 it only takes about a half hour.
if you want to make it easier on me and quicker, dont make the first post in the thread a picture, so I dont have to delete every post in the thread to get to it. I can just delete the uploads.

I got three pairs of pajamas recently from Amazon. They’re nice and comfortable.

theres also the option of paying for a higher storage space eventually and leaving them up. i have really been knocking down the space usage to maintain. We are only at 3.5% used right now. I just am being kind of anticipatory.

not going to be able to get the c.f. martin backpacker acoustic guitar until April now…oh well…at least it will get me used to saving money.
A set of expandable shelves for my shoes. As it is now my shoes are just thrown in my closet and I’ve had to dig out the ones I want to wear. Space is at a minimum in my apartment and I have to make the most of it so these shelves are 18 inches across but they’ll expand to 30 inches, I just need them to expand to 22 inches and I can fit three pairs of shoes and a pair of boots on them in my closet.

its mostly just the upload threads. I have to delete the entire thiing ot get to the first upload. If you dont post the upload as the first post I can leave all the text and just concentrate on uploads. I leave all text only threads intact.
