The ones on TEMU are pretty good these days and their sizing is finally accurate for North Americans, they’ve put in effort there. They will completely blow the shipping dates and you’ll get a $5 in store credit. Go into chat after the shipment is late and get a second one, it’s automatic. $10 back on every order.

I look for something I like on Amazon with good reviews and then hunt TEMU for an item with an identical pic. You’ll find they come from the same factory with same quality, but there is no middleman with TEMU so the price is about half.

SUMWON SUMWON

Have you found any snowboarding style stuff on temu?

Like, oversized and baggy?

The reason I keep bringing up sumwon is because they are on shein

There’s lots, but if you snowboard you can’t cheap out because of the level of activity. TEMU winter clothing doesn’t breathe well or layer well and most don’t have proper active heat control.

TheNorthFace and Outdoor Research are the gold standard out of the stuff I’ve personally looked into. I find that H/H is really overpriced for the quality and function and Columbia is in-between, their gear could kill you if you get a good sweat going.

You can cheap out on the base layer (polyester/spandex longjohns) and the fleece insulating layers somewhat, but you need to spend good money on the technical shell. You want thigh pistons on the pants and pit zips on the jacket (zippered heat venting).

I cannot abide clothing that doesn’t make sense or has cheap zippers. I don’t like clothing I have to stop and think about.

Um. I have noticed I am becoming more concerned with my appearance since the massive weight loss. Before I didn’t really care because it didn’t matter what I did, I still looked like a fat slob. Now I’ve got a bit of chub, but I no longer look fat.

I’m pickier about being presentable when I go out. Keeping my face trimmed and hair combed on the odd occasion I don’t have a hat on. Is this normal for people who lose a lot of weight, I wonder?
