Yeah, that movie is rarely talked about or mentioned, I thought it was a great movie and one of Tom Cruise’s best performances.
Hollywood took many liberties with the story in the movie. One example is that in real life Nash did not have visual hallucinations his symptoms were mainly auditory and delusional, it was just easier for Hollywood to depict visual hallucinations. Also, another example is that in real life Nash did have political and grandiose delusions but they did not involve espionage as the film showed and the film makes his recovery seem like it happened relatively quickly when actually it happened more slowly over a period of decades.
I completely agree
I’ma. Fan of Christopher Nolan films generally

I could watch those movies every day lols.
Now this movie is old but still qualifies as a mental illness themed film. I think it’s called Strange Voices or something with Nancy Mckeon who played Jo on the Facts of Life (80’s sitcom). Strange voices follows the path of the schizophrenic journey of a senior in college. They show her slowly having more and more symptoms of sz. Not entirely accurate in my opinion, but I was really young myself when I watched this and it gave me some good information.
