Yes, thanks. Plenty of vitamins there. Just have to eat more than I’d like to meet nutritional requirements of vegan diet

Thank you! I am hoping i will be as healthy on a well managed vegan diet as I was on paleo..

I eat tofu to try to get sufficient protein.

I had lentils for protein, but my fridge is stocked with tofu for the rest of the week

A really great book on vegan nutrition is ‘ the proof is in the plants’ by Simon hill

Oh kool. Thanku gonna note it down. Sounds intriguing. :grimacing:

What inspired me about veganism in terms of youtube is when i saw the pigs crying. Lol.

Another thing on yt is how they handle the chickens on a secret helmet camera.

What is the proof in the plants?

Aww poor pigs. I biked past some sheep the other day and got sick of eating them because they have to be killed. Seems like a waste.

The proof in the plants at the start of the book, talks about the benefits of a whole food plant based diet, like decreased stroke, cancer and heart attack risk..

Oh yea there seems 2 be some kind of evidence. I also read some science journal reviews that say statistically, a vegan diet slows kidney decline/ageing compared to omnivorism.

Thats cool about the sheep. The eyes of animals look real.

I looked up pigs crying on youtube. I didn’t see pigs crying but I could tell how sensitive a being the pig was by its eyes. Poor things

I hate how I feel sensitive to animals suffering but then I always forget how I felt and go back to meat..

Most cultures around the world have some sort of meat heating practices. There are humane ways to raise and slaughter meat.
