I used to believe thee was subliminal messages in TV programmes too.
Is there any reason for your broken sleep? If it’s noise, could you buy some earplugs?

I’ve been going thru similar. My neighbors follow me around my apt and curse at me everyday. I guess the best thing would go to a crisis center or call your psych. I want to go too. Respite
