I don’t know about other countries but in the uk , Kindle does not allow the reading of library books. Plus once you buy and download a book on Kindle you can’t transfer files to other devices. … so I opted for Kobo and I love it so much! I love to read manga on it and I just borrowed some ebooks from the library and it’s amazing I can do that. I also just bought an older refurbished Kobo sage which is good because it has a bigger screen and easier for my eyes 
- although Sage is black and white.
