I may not be sz but ptsd with psychotic features

I don’t hallucinate 24/7 even off meds and I haven’t had a hallucination in over a month…. Also my mother and I had a falling out…. It’s been…. Weird but enjoyable not having her on my back all the time

Btw my nurse practitioner is considering taking sz off my illness list…. I may be able to come off ap meds I’m also on non stimulant adhd meds that helps a lot….

Thanks for listening yall!

I don’t hallucinate at all, even off meds. But I’m still diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia though.

May I ask why you’re diagnosed with sz if you don’t hallucinate??

You don’t need to hallucinate to be diagnosed with it. I met other criteria.

@everhopeful I still think I’m more likely to be ptsd not sz my symptoms seem to be getting better with CBT and I’m doing better

Ok, be careful coming off meds . Go back on them if things go south.

@everhopeful I will and I’m doing it with nurse practitioner guidance… but also my sz hardly ever got better with meds or if it did it wasn’t effective long

You can have delusions and be diagnosed with it. I do.

I have only really hallucinated once.

Edit: Make that twice. I forgot about an audio one.

Edit:2 ok 3 times. I keep forgetting an instance.

Point is, not much.
