I can get the latest pixel 11 pro 512gb version for a total 644 (actual price 1399) as it’s giving me a trade in value for my pixel 9 of 705 thats around 400 more than its actual value at the moment. Plus I have 50 voucher. I dunno what to do
If you like the Pixels then it’s a great deal
The Pixel is a good phone
I find the android gives me more freedom but I love the iPhone too. I can never make a decision
iPhones are great phones but are quite boring, they are however ideal for older folks like me because they are easy to use.
You are rather young @Ish
The Pixel might be a good choice for you
I agree. Everything is streamlined. I used to prefer android phones when the iPhone first came out, but now I prefer iPhones because they’re so easy to use
Pixel phones are a good choice if you want to engage in installing custom roms. But maybe they have decent price for the quality as well. Although I would prefer the mid price a-model instead due to the fact they contain majority of the features at a reduced cost. But Android in my mind is better because it is semi-open platform, it is the strength really of the system overall.

They give quite honest reviews I find
I cancelled mines, even though I got a good price on the old phones it still meant spending more.
So which phone will you be getting @Ish?
Phones are garbage
I was planning on getting nothing, but I got an extra 125 of the pixel in addition to my 50 credit and extra 400 for old phone so I couldn’t resist. so a total of 519 for the new phone
its basically not much updates, but I have the 9xl to trade in for the 11 pro xl so I took the plunge.
ahhh I was so torn btween the regular pro and pro xl … but the regular pro although smaller was not much different and it cost 319 so…
Hi @Ish
I’m getting a refurbished Samsung galaxy 24 ultra in 2 weeks. Been needing a new phone for a while. Mine is totally broken. I’m sad cos it’s an iPhone 16
Thats what I buy whenever my phone bites it. I may have to get another myself soon as I have to get the cord just right in order for phone to charge. Before anyone says “It might be the charger”, its not…it does it with every one I use.
I would, but I suspect I might have to mortgage my house to buy it. Either that or be stuck on some long term plan.
I personally buy my phones refurbished, outright, just like @Ish plans too…and then I pay 15 dollars a month prepaid for phone service. It’s hella cheap this way.
I’m similar to now
At present the bi-fold/tri-panel smartphone will lower in cost from $3500 USD as the years progress so mortgaging your house to buy it will not be necessary. Similar to the transition from cellular phones to smartphones, foldable phones will be common and is the future just as how Apple Corporation is entering the foldable phone market next month.
$3500 for a phone is ridiculous
It’s more like a tablet, not a phone
