I wish I was a rich man. I would buy this camera in a heartbeat. It’s designed for black and white photographers but sometimes I do color too, but my main medium is black and white.

Cameras work far better than phones. Higher resolution, better colors, ability to control aperture and shutter speed, etc. a phone is a good beginners camera, but if you want creative control, go for the big guns. That’s why I take pics on my camera and not on a phone. A phones sensor is also microscopic compared to a cameras.

I just don’t like phone cameras. Lousy quality, bad color, and no control over camera functions to get a certain look, mainly shutter speed and aperture. Phone cameras are fine for snap shots like if you’re with your friends and want to take a photo for Facebook.

As a guy who has tried both phones and real cameras, I see a major difference.

But you’re right, better camera doesn’t make you a better photographer, you just have the creative control to make professional photographs.

I like vintage cameras that still work. Your photos are great. What’s different in black and white than color to you ?

Just too expensive as a tool, something tenth of that price would be my absolute maximum. Although it is definitely true a actual digital cameras, especially dslr, are the best tool for the job.

I have no idea, I just do. I take mainly black and white I guess for its moody atmosphere. I don’t really have a good explanation on why lol

Mirrorless cameras are starting to become even better. You can see the depth of field before you even take the photo which is amazing. And (if I remember correctly) they are even sharper and have better colors.
