I never got a return phone call from them. Now we have made it throught the winter without assistance. They never bothered to return the call.

Pretty high but we managed. Couldve been worse.

Yeah, I would’ve stayed on their ass. In my state you can fill out the application online on the DCF website and they notify you via mail if you’ve been approved.

In Ohio you can apply Oct 1 – May 31 so you might still be eligible. Call them until you get a hold of someone who can help you with your claim.
In Illinois it’s October 1st - August 15th. The funds are distributed on a first come-first serve basis in both places until they run out. (Sorry, I forget if you moved from Ohio to Illinois or Illinois to Ohio).
