Low blood preasure BP meds

My BP was 98/66 which i know isnt too low yet but its close. I havent been monitoring it but ive been having new symptoms like dizziness and i cant go up the stairs without my heart pounding. Ive been getting really dehydrated easily too. I see my dr on tuesday. Im on amlodipine 10mg i think my dr will lower my dose. My BP rose to dangerous levels when on wellbutrin and i think its equalizing out since they took me off of it

This means your BP is dipping to much lower levels when this happens. Please see a doctor.

I was told as a RN that anything below 90/60 was a hypotensive crisis. You may want to Google criteria for a hypotensive crisis

I have been very cold but thats about all. I need to call my dr tomorrow even tho i see her tuesday. Im not sure this can wait that long ifs been getting worse

I really hope your doctor gets back to you soon, even if only to speak over the phone.

It’s definitely not something that you would want to get any worse.

If he/she doesn’t, as I see it you have two choices? (Although you may have more, and I’m sorry if I’m wrong on this.)

  1. Go to ER / your nearest emergency department.
  2. Reduce your dosage yourself, by a small amount. I wouldn’t advise doing this, as it’s always, always better to adjust any meds under medical supervision.

I saw a dr today he lowered my BP meds and said come back in two weeks
