A tornado struck our city. Lightning hit our large tree in our front yard. It fell over and hit my car. The wind was so strong it flipped the tree into our road. We waited until it was safe and tried to drag the tree into our yard. A Good Samaritan and our neighbor helped us chop it up. It was frightening because the sky was so black it was like night.

Wow, crazy stuff @sweetpotatopie . We had a major wind storm take out one of our trees at my parents a number of years back. YOu could tell it was going to go because you could see the groung ‘breathing’ as it moved.

God that’s really scary!!! I can’t imagine such dangerous weather! Fortunately Cape Town doesn’t get many storms.

A severe storm knocked down a huge part of a tree in my neighbors yard and it crashed down in my property weeks ago
My neighbor sawed off the parts of the tree and hauled it off my property
So nice of him to do so
