Thanks for the reply @SzSupportAdmin. I actually do consider what all you guys say about this being a delusion and when I think the neighbor is threatening me I often remember what you guys say about it and try to tell myself I’m mistaken. I think you guys are right in a lot of what you say but on the other hand, yes you are right, the guy has proven he’s inconsiderate and a jerk and I think it’s just him having control and power issues.
I remember a sportswriter in a documentary I was watching saying that when Muhammad Ali savaged Joe Frazier before “The Thrilla in Manila” fight by calling him a gorilla and saying he’s ugly it got under Joe’s skin so much that any little thing Ali did infuriated him. And I’ve thought more than once that something similar is going on here, in my mind this situation has been going on with this neighbor (and no others) for a year now and now every little noise gets to me and the fact that he’s still doing in when I’m in my own home after all this time infuriates me. I’m just tired of the whole thing, I want to feel peaceful in my own home.

Even if you lived in a detached house your delusion would probably morph into ghosts or spirits, or neighbours looking over your fence or something probably.

I very rarely have any symptoms any more. A big part of it is turning away delusional thoughts. It can be hard because the delusions are entertaining for the mind. It kind of gives a psychlogical battle to be fought that keeps us busy.
Turning the thoughts away makes life have less meaning in a weird way. At least initially.
But yeah, the trick is to accept that life becomes quiet when pushing the delusions away. The mind needs to be able to handle idling. And ofcourse other activities must be sought to keep the mind busy.

I don’t know what to say to you guys, he’s been up there fucing around for an hour and a half now doing god knows what and yes, I’ve said a half dozen times, he’s hypersensitive and that’s fine, if he want to be on edge all day, every day then knock yourself out but he’s hypersensitive to me and what I’m doing. Maybe he’s magic or has supernatural powers, IDK, but he can sense my every thought or physical movement. I don’t know how else to describe it, he’s like a girl or something, a sensitive fellow. There’s nothing to analyze, it’s all about power and control.
I lived a few places. The first place I lived was woodwork between the stories. The woman upstairs could hear my music and started stomping on the floorboards a couple of times, even though I didn’t play loud. She was a bookworm I think though, so maybe it got on her nerves. You could really hear a lot in that place between the stories.
The three other places I lived had concrete floors. I never really had any trouble with neighbours there. I can on rare occasions hear the neighbour above me, but it’s totally random.
The guy above you might not be conciderate, but claiming he is controlling you is pretty far out there. And you said you had this same belief with previous neighbours..
Well, as a last resort you could always try the tinfoil hat, jk
