We still will have gifts to and from others to open on Christmas Eve and Christmas, but we have opened all of our gifts to each other.

We wait. The waiting is enforced this year because TEMU routed Canadian packages through LAX in the middle of a trade war. They won’t be here on time. I’m pressing them for a full, non-returnable refund because now I have to buy replacement gifts. I’m pretty upset.

When it was just me and my ex we would do the same thing. We would open what we got each other before Christmas but other presents from others we would wait
