No forced meds luckily

I’m at my final stop. A psych ward where the idiots are forcing me to do psychology even though it’s useless.

I was allowed to stop my meds nearly a week ago.

So far so good. No symptoms.

Test levels will rise again.

And when I do get back to the gym

One month of training will get me back all the strength and size I lost. Or most of it. 3 months training non stop and I’ll be bigger than I was before admission.

Congratulation that’s great for you. I’m an old man and didn’t exercise for 14 years. Yes I moved very little. So I started exercising more than half a year ago. It was hard to move at first. But now I’m finally that fit that I can run 3 miles on my cross trainer and 20 push up at my wall. But now exercising is much easier each day.

I’m genuinely worried about you @Eternalaether .

What are you going to do without meds?

You’ll just get involuntarily hospitalised again (if you’re lucky), or worse if you’re unlucky.

Psychology is how I am able to cope with a level of positive symptoms that would have destroyed my function and my insight decades ago. CBT, DBT, and ACT (workbooks!) let me do so much more on lower doses of meds. If you think psychology has no value then you’re cheating yourself of achieving more meaningful recovery.

As for me, anything that works without a huge bill, side-effects, or co-pay is a winner in my book.

I understand but I am naturally asymptomatic when in remission.

Just need to avoid stress combined with insomnia.

Then no psychosis ever again.

Thanks for your concern.

Why not just take a small amount of them to stay stable. It’s likely to cause another bout of psychosis. The answer is always in the middle.

That’s good you’re in shape

Hopefully you’ll keep being okay

If you don’t want medication, maybe you could ask for plants to take instead

You know your body just don’t wait till you’re far gone if you relapse. You know the warning signs. I think a middle ground approach is good. Take a small dose of something that’s non sedating with no side effects. I take geodon I have no side effects. Good luck.

Geodon is the best.

Abilify is alright, but 10mg causes priapism for me which is kinda scary.

Apparently I’m treatment resistant too.

They had me on clozapine before.

I find meds don’t make a difference to sz symptoms.

When I had delusions and mania in hospital last year, the meds had no effect.

that is scary, I have minor sexual side effects from my meds but abilify helps, if abilify does that to you i would not take it

The drs intentionally hurt me by putting me on paliperidone in 2015 when abilify was available for me as a runner and cyclist. The paliperidone was a massive shock to my system sexually cardiovascularly and metabolically. You may doubt wanting to intentionally hurt but you really have to see the situation I was in. It was literally a gang of psychiatric goons and bullys I unfortunately crossed.
