I had my appointment with my Pdoc today. She’s so nice I love her. All the meds are staying the same except we are lowering my morning dose of Geodon from 60mg to 40mg to try and help with my grogginess in the mornings. She’s refilling everything else except my Klonopin. I still have a box of 60 Klonopin unopened so I’ll try and make that last. I try not to take it anyway
I wish my doctor would give me Klonopin instead of Ativan. Klonopin is usually regarded as the best benzo.

I’ve been on both Ativan and Klonopin at different times. Ativan has a shorter half life than Klonopin. Klonopin has a 12 hour half life which I prefer because I don’t have to take multiple in one day

I’ve had them before procedure and neither klonopin nor Ativan help me at all. It’s like they’re giving me placebos. I feel nothing after getting them in my IV.

Really? Yeah I’ve been on Geodon since 2018. It’s excellent because it doesn’t have a weight gain side effect

Back when I took geodon I couldn’t sit still on it. I’m used to hearing people but on.like abilify risperdal etc. Well if it works the better

I do agree I have really bad akathisia on Geodon but it works better for me than all the other meds I’ve tried
