Duuuuude.. what’s Detroit like? I would love to go check out eminems house he grew up in.. I had a taxi driver in my city and he was from Detroit he was cool.. I said do u know who eminem is and hes like well yea lol he was chill dude

The suburbs are nice. A lot of things to do. A lot of interesting people. Before 8 mile is ghetto. I went to a deja vu strip club on 7 mile and they had a dude with a shot gun guarding the door. I got held up at gunpoint on 7 mile and chalmers everything over there in bullet proof glass..if you go to anything under 8 mile and you’re white you stand out it’s all black people. They know you’re not from there. The real Detroit is like a nightmare, junkies walking the streets looking like zombies and groups of thugs walking the streets. But now Detroit is desolate. I think a million people left after the housing crash and part of it is gentrified but there’s still places you don’t go like any mile road under 8 mile. 8 mile is like the blurring line between Detroit and the suburbs. Downtown used to be scary now it’s revitalized the mayor before this mayor duggan was the head of payday loans. He knew how to move money and invest. Yeah, but the suburbs are nice, some are ritzy. Something new to do everyday. A lot of beautiful women. I miss it. I live in ohio now because my grandma left me her house. Where I live now it’s by the water. I live around a lot of old retired people. It’s quiet. In the city there is a lot of crime. Yeah when I was younger I was fascinated with Detroit because I was into hip hop. But the stuff they’re rapping about I witnessed first hand it’s ghetto.
