ive played it using my bass mainly and with guitar for a while its pretty awesome and the most fun and gamifyed way to play and practice real guitar and bass,
its a video game where u plug a cord into your real guitar and the usb goes to either a game console or pc and its like guitar hero but the notes on screen are the real frets and strings and you are actually playing the song note for note in real time. it has lessons built in for certain techniques, and a rewind thing where you can slow down songs and focus on a specific line or section and repeated it at various speeds and percentage of difficulty up to the real song recordings difficulty, it also has custom dlc made by users where basically if you play on pc you can play any song that has been made into cdlc even if its not featured in the games official dlc, (which is massive btw)
