Has anyone on here at one point taken Olanzapine for a long period of time, stopped because you switched APās, and still slept fine without taking Olanzapine any more?

my ex was on olanzapine for a while. She had sleep problems when she stopped. but that was cold turkey not taking another med in place

I think what poet says is right you have to replace it with a different ap thatās what they have done to me

its a good questionā¦ i do wodner if theres any med that can offset whatever causes the sleep problems with quitting olanzapien cold turkey.,..
Iām not thinking of fully quitting meds, but Iām considering a switch. Iāve tried slowly tapering off Olanzapine like 2 or 3 times over the years Iāve been on it and every time itās like my brain doesnāt know how to fall asleep without the drug in my system. I wish I never started this fuucking drug. Iām a food monster on it.

I bet the only answer to that is benzos to calm you down. However good luck finding someone who will right them anymore.

damn i hear you man.. ive never taken it so idk what its like but yea ive seen it in action before second hand. i hope you find a different ap you preferā¦ maybe you can ask your doc about meds that are similar to olanzapine but more weight neutralā¦ then maybe the transition will be easier yet have less increased appetite. I think each AP has like a class, maybe you can find a list of apās in the same class that acts on the same receptors etc.

Hey Kiddos! 
Today is payday so thatās always nice. I ordered some goodies on Amazon and then I walked to Quick Trip and got their 5 dollar meal that theyāre currently doing. I ate one of the hotdogs and it filled me up really well. I put the other one in the fridge to save for later. I also saved the chips for later.

Hey Poet! Haha! Weāre hotdog/Amazon twinsies. 
Weather here is nice and warm but the sky is overcast and weāve been having lots of rain lately. Today on my walk I wore a tee shirt and a jean jacket and by the time I got home I was pretty sweaty.
So what did you order on Amazon if you donāt mind me asking? I ordered the Strongās Bible Concordance and a tee shirt that has an alien on it and around the alien it says āTin foil hat club.ā

it didnt really touch my paranoia and delusions. Olanzapine really helps my mental health, just wish I could stick to a calorie deficit on it. I do good for a while but I seem to always fall back into eating like a maniac.

lol i had to google that but seems to be a radio station where they talk about paranormal stuff? i guess like alex jones. Hes actually in one of my favourite movies, waking lifeā¦ he has a scene where he goes on a rant about government i think. ill post the clip.
Anyways yes, the weather is a huge blessing. the way i see it is the sun is giving us energy in general which helps alleviate human suffering so im all for it.
