Got my 1.0 mg wegovy. Since I’m at the tail end of my last weekly dose, tonight is my cheat meal. I’m getting a big ol’ burrito from Chipotle. Pinto beans, white rice, barbacoa, tomato, cheese, lettuce, and sour cream. Then after I’ve had it in my stomach for an hour I’ll stab myself with the weight loss pen and for the rest of the week my meals will be tiny.

I got an oil change and replaced my cabin filter yesterday and next week I’m getting my winter tires put on for winter. It’s getting colder and the leaves are falling. It’s started being dark when I wake up in the morning. I hope this Winter isn’t as cold as last winter…i don’t like when it’s colder than -20 F…

Took my mom to her general practitioner doctor. I brought up lactic acidosis with chronic kidney disease. I wasn’t sure if you wait for labs to get bad or if there’s a glomerular filtration rate value where you adjust metformin. He looked it up. He said when glomerular filtration rate is between 30 and 44 you lower metformin. So he lowered her metformin to prevent lactic acidosis. My mom has anemia. She’s had it for years. They finally tested her ferritin levels and it showed low iron so she has iron deficiency anemia. He told me what pills to get her. Gentle iron 28mg’s with vitamin c for absorption. He said the iron pills will give my mom energy. He also wants my mom to fill out a medical will. It’s different than a will when you die it’s a will strictly dealing with medical care when you’re sick. In my state you only need a notary to validate the will. In some states you have to see a lawyer. Just got home had some soup and crackers for me and my mom. We were at the doctors for 2 hours, she also had to do a medicare wellness check. Long day didn’t get to read philosophy. There’s always tomorrow. Good things.

Hey y’all, how’s it going? I’ve had a nice day off, productive too.
This morning I got a dental cleaning, made the dreaded trip to the laundromat, then a little grocery shopping, then dishes. Now I’m just chillin, though there are more dishes yet to be washed.

Today i ordered from Amazon the special insoles the podiatrist recommended I get. They cost me nearly $50, damn.
Since I spent enough money to get free shipping (I don’t have Prime), I figured it would be a good opportunity to order something I’ve been wanting, the vinyl EP “And I Return to Nothingness.” That’s how I rationalize spending an unnecessary $20 lol.
But yeah, the EP was the first work that Lorna Shore put out after Will Ramos (current vocalist) joined the band. It’s just 3 or 4 songs, including the renowned “To the Hellfire.”
