Yeah, a mix is always an option too. And cheaper generally.

@SzSupportAdmin the most well behaved dog I ever had was a lab/ German shepherd mix. Rescued him. He was absaloutly brilliant. This is going back about 20 years ago now. Will never forget that dog.

For sure. Check your local shelter. And the more breeds a dog has the longer theyāll live. I think I heard that somewhere.

Anyone remember those sticky octopus toys you throw at walls and they would climb down?
They are to moderators as the job is to the wall. Sure, they stick for a bit, but then they just fall off halfway down the wall.

Ciggy, does your dog help you out a lot with anxiety? Jimmy helps me out big time with mine. Sometimes when he lays on my chest he relaxes me so much I could go back to sleep lol.

kinda, he likes to be close when relaxing, even tho i still usually end up endlessly scrolling phone. but one thing for sure he forces me to get off my azz even when i dont want to. whenever its time for breakfast or dinner or he needs to go outside he will lead me by looking and running back and forth towards what it is and huffing. he knows how to communicate his needs and schedule.
i do think yeah tho id be alot more anxious if i didnt have him, but its not like an in the moment thing but just the presence of always sticking close to me and stretching out and putting his head under my hands to break them apart whenever i have my hands folded

My mom called me in the living room because I forgot to drink juice this morning
I was in the living room, my mom said to my dad thereās no more chocolate to put in the milk left and my dad started to shake weirdly and said loudly āI eat chocolateā
So I said to my dad he acts like heās 5 years old and then he denied he did a crisis,and said āI donāt talk to youā
And because my dad doesnāt handle that you make a remark to him, he was like āYou do that tooā(even though I donāt act like that)
Heās tiring
But what angers me too is my mom start to say to me āStop Alisonā(itās my name) like if I did something wrong
Theyāre not together anymore,he disrespected her a long time and is mean to her sometimes but she still takes his side

Woke up at 6am, watched a few hours of dr phil. Watching the news right now. Did some laundry. Had a protein shake for breakfast. Gonna take the day as it comes. No agenda. Good things. Got a book coming today and some pajama pants for my mom.
