Not much going on here tonight. Iāve mostly just been resting today. Got a couple packages earlier this afternoon. Got some new Leviās and a badass brown Ben Davis shirt. Super happy with both.

Hey Monte, a day of rest sounds nice. Thatās pretty much what I have been doing. Iām so very tired, but itās way too late in the day for a nap. Iāll tough it out for a few more hours.

I got tickets to see 5 finger death punch in August! I know they get a lot of flack for their music, but their music was huge for me in early recovery of substance use.

Hey bud! Iām in good spirits tonight. I imagine that coffee I had a little while ago helped too lol. Just trying to stay warm here tonight. I finally stopped being a meiser and turned my heat up earlier today. Really loving my new shirt.

Yeah by the time I fell asleep I had been up for just over 24 hours, then slept only a few hours. I just couldnāt stay asleep this afternoon.

I got a brown Ben Davis work shirt. These shirts are fairly popular with a lot of Chicanos out on the west coast. Lots of other types of people wear them too though.

Oh hell yeah! Yeah Ben Davis shirts look great with sneakers like Converse and Vans. Just about any type of simple or OG sneakers look great with them. And these types of shirts last forever man!

That lineup is kind of stank. Day one would be my day too, but I would pay someone money to not have to listen to Hollywood Undead.
I had a coworker go to a Tech N9ne concert and Hollywood Undead played, and I said sorry that they had to endure that.
One of my least favorite bands.
Iām glad I didnāt preorder for the festival this year.
However, if Starset played their Horizons album Iād be down for that.

Oh gotcha! Yeah Ben Davis is probably mostly considered workwear/street-wear type of clothing. All their stuff looks badass though haha! Iām a little biased though.
Hell yeah! I love Tool. Every time I listen to them I get wrapped up in a weird time loop and just get lost in their music. Parabola and Forty Six & 2 especially get me sucked in.
EDIT: damn I just looked at the fine print and POD and Saliva as well? Thatās a solid lineup.

Yeah Sonic Temple is bigger and a little more expensive than Inkcarceration, but it packs a better lineup for sure. Last May I went VIP to the first day (headlined by Korn), and it was the best festival experience Iāve ever had.

Oh yeah, Korn was great 
. I had never seen Korn before that; Korn was the band that got me into metal, around 1999/2000, so it was awesome to see them.
Tool became my favorite band when āLateralusā dropped (2001), still one of my all-time favorite albums. Iāve never seen Tool, so Iām excited to cross them off my bucket list this May.
Tool was succeeded by small-time metal band Mushroomhead as my favorite band. Iāve seen them probably around fifteen times. Theyāre not the same band anymore, though.
