Some news and a mildly amusing, maybe even funny story : Puppy pics : A cute and amusing post

So, we put down a deposit on specific puppy to reserve one for us to pick in a couple weeks. They arent old enough yet.

They took down her picture on the site we found her on since we have her reserved her to pick her up.

But here are some of her litter mates from Facebook. One of them may even be her :

So there is the cute part.

Here is the amusing part.

So we already picked out a name. We saw a female boxer and her thought her name would be a good one. We are naming her ‘skye’. My wife wants to give her the middle name grace, so we are going with that.

So her name would be ‘skye grace’, right? So a few minutes after giving me the dogs middle name my wife comes in the office all concerned. She says “I’m worried her name might sound like “pie face””

I’m like “whaaaat?”

I had to tell her it would be fine several times before she agreed to leave it as is :joy: .

Do dogs have middle names? Will that confuse a dog. When I was a kid I learned to change a dogs name by calling it two names at a time for a while then dropping the first name.

its not really any different than a 2 syllable name. My old dog sounds like “Mag-gie”. Not really much different than “Sky-Grace”. Personally, I think I’ll just call her “Skye”. Wife wanted a middle name for some reason , though.

If you wanted to be poetic you call her Skye Anfa which is Irish for storm. She’d be a stormy sky.

Thanks @Wave . I will bring it up to her @sweetpotatopie

Sky is a good first name for a lab but so is Grace as a first name

When I was a kid we named our beagle “Stay.”

We would take him to the dog park and when it was time to go home we would say, “Come here, Stay, come here Stay. Come here Stay.” Eventually the poor guy had a nervous breakdown.
