Just wanted to make a quick note on personal messages.

If you are receiving unwanted pms or are harassed in any way through them. Please flag them and staff will deal with them. The moderators have no way to check personal messages and there is no way for them to see them unless they are flagged.

We received a complaint about pms one member did not want recently.

The best courses of action if you are having issues with unwanted pms is to either, set your profile to private, tell the person directly that you dont take pms, or flag for staff to deal with.

We cant intervene if we dont know.

Just as a note : Admin are capable of checking pms. But its not something I routinely do unless I feel something is amiss (like a potential troll account, for example). So, Iā€™m not likely to catch any harassment going on. Much better to flag any offending comments to bring it to our attention.

Moderators cannot read pms at all without a flag.
