Probably not the most exciting post I have ever made. But thats what Ive got going on this morning.
Guy is supposed to come replace the meter between 7 and 9am. So im playing the waiting game.
Plans for the day include going to my wifes parents this afternoon and getting my weekly work hours online.
Work tomorrow.

The holiday season probably is a busy time for my job. But I am still working the same hours so it really doesnt affect me.
They already kind of push you for max efficiency so, you know, cant really go beyond max.

I’.ve been waiting since 10-30am for my new computer and its nearly 1pm now… its just arrived, they delivery guy said i could have goteen it delivered yesterday on a second run if i told them i was home then. Ah well, you live & learn lol

Awww. I like Mason, @Joker. Glad he got a few presents. My pups got these giant bones that are probably 16-18”. No wrapping, though, because it’ll complicate my life if Ghost learns how to open presents and that there are good things in there. It will haunt me forever, no doubt. My guinea pigs are going to get Christmas decorations for their house to brighten it up a bit.
For my day I might, maybe, perhaps go to my office party, but I think it’s unlikely now. I’d have 75 minutes to shower, get dressed up, and get there. Not much time, not much motivation. The other thing I want to do it get the little tree we have out all decorated and clean up in the living room (dusting, vacuuming). I need to change the piggy’s litter to Christmas themed colors, and I need to go to Petsmart to pick up their Christmas decorations for their cage. I need to clip their nails. I also want to make Rice Krispy treats and cookies today! Finally, we have shots scheduled for Covid and the flu for my husband, my daughter, and myself.

Admittedly, part of my problem was that it was going to have EVERYONE in the organization there, not just the 30 or so teachers. There are a lot of people! Plus, hubby is on nightshift, so his sleep schedule is off, and he’s my ride. Then, there was rain on the way, and I had a migraine coming in. Basically sign after sign that going would be a bad idea.
